What is the admission fee?
There is no admission or parking fee. There is a fee for reserved
seating. Seats can be reserved in advance or purchased as available
on the day of the show. Patrons are welcome to bring their own
chairs/blankets. The earlier one arrives, the better the set-up
spots. Once the show starts, spaces behind the bleachers are not
good for viewing anything on the tarmac, so the open spaces to
the sides of the bleacher areas are the best for veiwing both
the ground and air acts.
May I purchase advance seating to the air show?
Yes, advance seating wristbands are available
Where can I purchase seating?
Seating reservations are available in mid-August at our ITT office
located at the NEX Mall on Highway 98. (850-452-6362) or
on line.
Are seating reservations for the entire weekend or for
just one day?
Each ticket is good for one day only — Extra reservations
would be needed for any additional day(s) you wish to attend.
Night air show reservations can be purchased in combo or separate
from the day show on Friday.
May I upgrade my ticket the day of the event?
The Flightline Club, Box Seating will offer any available seats
for purchase the day of the event and you can upgrade if you have
cash. We cannot take credit cards at the show, however there is
an ATM on the grounds. Seating areas have sold out in the past
and we recommend pre-registration to ensure seats are available
and that your group can find seating together in bleachers or
box seats.
What time does the show start and end?
Gates open at 8 am both days and the show is scheduled to begin
at 9 am. The Blues are the last performers during the day show
and they go up around 2 pm. The show is usually over around 3
pm. On Veterans Day there will be a hiatus with the 2 ½
hour night show beginning with the National Anthem at 4 pm. On
Saturday, the show will over at 3 pm. The crews begin to break
things down around 4 pm.
Is it a different show each day?
The day show schedule is the same each day. The Friday show is
followed by a night show. Low clouds or high winds can effect
the performer’s acts.

What happens if it rains?
We contend "It NEVER rains on our parade!" Some years
the weather channel has reported thunderstorms during our show,
while we were enjoying rain free weather while the storms passed
north of the Naval Air Station. There are no refunds and no rain
dates for the event. Check our website for foul weather announcements.

What is the temperature at the show?
The average temperature that time of year is 63 degrees. It can
be windy on the tarmac. We suggest layers as the temerpature in
the am can be cool enough for gloves, while afternoon sun warms
us up enough to warrant sun screen. We ask that
you use hats and sunscreen and not umbrellas, that obscure
the view of people behind you.

Is there a handicap area?
There is a section cordoned off for wheelchairs only, first come,
first served. A companion may set up with the wheelchair member,
but we ask that large family groups not take up space that others
with handicap needs would like to use. If a family wants to purchase
reserved seating and needs accommodations for a wheelchair, contact
us for seating reservations at 850-452-6362 or by email.

Where do I park?
Much of the parking area at the show grounds has been taken up
by new construction. You will be guided to the nearest available
parking areas. As they fill you will be directed to parking lots
that have shuttle service to and from the show.
return to top of page
Is there handicapped parking available?
This year we suggest the handicap accessible shuttles be used
for those with handicap stickers, as the handicap area is near
the shuttle drop off site. The bleacher and box seat area is also
close, as is an open viewing area. The area previously designated
for handicapped parking in the past has been difficult to get
to from the show center / vendor area and tends to bottleneck
at the end of the show. We believe this will be a better solution.
Handicapped port-a-lets are available.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the flight line in the vicinity
of aircraft, vendor tents or chalets. Jet fuel is very flammable
and as planes are on the tarmac during regular hours and brought
in for the show, there is often fuel soaked into the cement. There
are also many children at eye level with held cigarettes. There
is a smoking area back by the hangars.

In addition to the air show, spectators can enjoy a collection
of aircraft on display, virtual games and other attractions/displays
at vending booths, food booths, souvenir booths, a kids fun-zone,
drawing for KIA Automobile, a night air show on Friday. No one
who finds air shows exciting should miss seeing the National Museum
of Naval Aviation, located adjacent to the air field. It is in
and of itself a day’s excursion and visitors will find it
well worth extending their visit to Pensacola for an extra day.
Ae there Military Discounts?
No. The show is free and prices for seating and chalets help pay

that gain them access to the MWR Chalet or purchase individual
tickets to the Flightline Club
that also provides a tented area, chairs, food, and beverages
for an extra special experience at the air show.
